In September 2015, Michael Duma’s client stood charged in Johnson County District Court with Domestic Battery - Second Offense, and Criminal Damage to Property. Although the State had offered Michael’s client a favorable plea offer, his client refused to admit guilt to a crime that he did not commit. Michael supported his client’s decision to proceed to trial and after cross examination of the alleged victim and arresting officer, the Court found Michael’s client not guilty and discharged him of any further liability in the case.
